Privacy Policy

Short version: tporbit has no accounts and no analytics. Your trading data stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
1. What we collect
Data you enter (trades, notes, checklist, settings, screenshots, share backgrounds) is saved in your browser's local storage and IndexedDB on your device. We do not receive, see or store it.
Technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We do not use this to identify you or to build profiles.
2. Cookies and tracking
tporbit does not set tracking or advertising cookies and does not use third-party analytics. It uses browser storage only to remember your data and preferences, and a service worker to make the app load fast and work offline.
3. News feed
When you open the News tab, the app asks our server for the public economic calendar. The server fetches it from a third-party source and caches it. Your trading data is never part of this request.
4. Legal basis and retention
We process technical data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Hosting logs are kept by Cloudflare under its own retention rules. Data stored in your browser stays there until you delete it, and you can delete it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser or using the controls in the app.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your data. Cloudflare acts as our hosting provider and may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards. Pictures and videos you create with the share feature are made on your device, and nothing is uploaded unless you post it yourself.
6. Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of personal data we hold about you, and to complain to your data protection authority (in Denmark, Datatilsynet). Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests can be satisfied by clearing your browser data.
7. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18.
8. Future accounts
If we add accounts or cloud sync, we will update this policy before it takes effect, explain what is stored and why, and ask for your agreement where required.
